Transitional style dresser by René Barde

An elegant French chest of drawers, made of rosewood and violetwood veneers, with marquetry depicting carquois, musical instruments, and flowers. The chest also features gilt bronze handles and appliqués, and a white Carrere marble top. This piece is signed René Barde on the top of the cabinet, indicating who made it.
