Ironwood figure representing the Hindu god of war, Kartikeya. Kartikeya is the commander-in-chief of the army of the gods and is depicted with weapons such as the spear, sword, javelin, discus, mace, and bow. His mount is a peacock, symbolizing the destruction of the ego.

Kartikeya is represented in various forms, but most icons show him with one head. However, others show him with six heads, reflecting the legend that he was born to six mothers.  Origin: India.
