Spectacular French Louis XV style desk with marquetry, appliqués, and bronze handles. It features six upper drawers and two spacious lower drawers. The ample writing surface is covered in new sangria-red leather. The craftsmanship behind the desk is dazzling, showcasing exquisite marquetry in a variety of woods—rosewood, violetwood, walnut, and jacaranda—framed with a beautiful, richly colored fillet that contrasts with the lighter wood, giving each section a distinctive character. Finally, a beautiful North Star adorns each side. The cabinetmaker's meticulous work is of a rare and exceptional quality.
