French gentleman's Chatelaine in 800 silver with three pendants

A French chatelaine made of 800 sterling silver, with three pendants: a coin purse, a cigar cutter, and a small matchbox. It is because of these elements, and the era in which this accessory was used, that we can identify it as a men's chatelaine.

This piece, used during the 16th and 19th centuries, consisted of an ornate metal piece that was attached to the belt with a main clasp or hook, from which several chains attached with various tools hung.
