A splendid English Chippendale chiffonier cabinet with a walnut and walnut burl exterior and a satin-finished mahogany interior. The surface highlights the wood's natural texture. It features a spacious interior with double lockable doors, ideal for use as a liquor cabinet or bar cabinet. It also includes three lower drawers with their original brass handles. The bottom drawer is deeper than the two above. The hand-carved eagle-claw legs are fitted with casters for easy movement. The top has a walnut braided border along its entire outer edge, providing a beautiful finish. The piece likely dates from the mid-20th century.
