Chinese bronze Cloisonné pottery, Qing Dynasty style, 'Lions and Clouds'

A beautiful potiche, or box, of Chinese origin, made of cloisonné bronze. The piece is in the Quintana dynasty style, characterized by its fine filigree work in the bronze and deep-colored enamels, such as green, red, turquoise, black, and yellow. This bronze features a design depicting two repeating lion figures in varying colors, surrounded by clouds and flowers. The rim joining the lid to the body has a decorative black pattern. The interior is entirely enameled in turquoise.
